Bill asked me about hosting a reunion for BayernTrips participants. We have some ideas for some regional get-togethers:
Milwaukee: Bockbierfest at the end of March
New Braunfels Texas: Wurstfest in early October
East Coast: Looking for a good event
The idea is to bring former trip participants together for a small reunion. This worked really great for us in MIlwaukee. We rented a conference room in a hotel and brough in a bunch of German beer, played German music, and watched videos and share photos using a projector. The next day, we did a brewery tour together and then went to Bockbierfest.
Vonia and I are now looking at doing a similar thing in Texas so we can get together with everyone from down there.
We also have a decent concentration of former guests on the east coast – I just need to find an appropriate event – any thoughts?
