Oktoberfest 2009

Our Oktoberfest trips combine the charm of Bavarian small towns with Munich's legendary Oktoberfest. Rich cultural experiences culminate in celebration at the world's best beer festival. We are offering two different itineraries this year - click for details:

 

Best of Bavaria: 9/16 – 9/23 Füssen and Munich. COST: $1,950 per person; double occupancy. (flights separate). A rich culutural experience: Kloster Andechs, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, Zugspitze, Viehscheid, Weisswurst Frühstück, WWII Munich tour & 2 visits to Oktoberfest, .

Connisseur's:  9/23 - 9/30 Berchtesgaden/Salzburg + Munich. COST: $1,950 per person; double occupancy. (flights separate). Eagle's Nest tour, Dokumenation Center on Obersalzburg, Brewery Tour, Schnapps distillery tour, boat ride on the Königsee, Salt mine tour, Day trip to Salzburg, and 2 visits to Oktoberfest.

Christmas Markets Tour

 

Visit the home of Christmas Tradition and the best Christmas Markets: Rothenburg, Nürnberg, Bamberg, Ulm, and Munich. Includes Castles, History Tours, and much more! A rich cultural experience in a small group setting. Limited to 20 seats. Starkbierfest 2010 

Enjoy the strong, rich beers that got the monks through Lent. This is Munich at its best - we visit the many little celebrations, enjoy many brewery tours, and the best sights in Munich and southern Bavaria - including a trip to the famous castles and a visit to Austria. Celebrating Oktoberfest, German Style

Looking for a travel experience unlike any other? Are you returning to Germany for your dozenth time, or is this your first visit? Our most popular tours focuses on the Octoberfest in Munich, Germany. These tours begin in mid-September, with the last tour group returning home a few days after the end of the festival. The Oktoberfest tour brings travelers to the revelry of the legendary celebration. We've made the reservations for a private table once we get there, so as not to get split up and get lost in the crowds. Along with excursions to Bavarian villages and nearby Austria, visits to the locals' favorite haunts, and trips to Munich's biergartens, you're sure to always have great memories of Oktoberfest. Germany is also known for its Christmas markets. Every December, town squares are transformed into holiday wonderlands. Merchants set up booths and sell baked goods and spirits to warm curious shoppers as they browse a spectrum toys and trinkets. We lead a tour that explores the different German Christmas markets- from the smaller ones set up in quaint villages to the even more grandiose markets in Munich. Gute Reise!
