...We spent three nights in the charming town of Füssen. The location of the small, family-owned Hotel Ruchti was ideal  for exploring Hohenschwangau Castle, Neuschwanstein Castle and Wieskirche, the Pilgrimage Church of our Scourged Savior. We soon realized that Scott and Vonia were at home in Bavaria. We felt like we were traveling with and amongst an extended family and were able to meet and visit their local friends....

Our good friend, Mister Monopoly, gets us a photo op with Mrs. Mustard - the Granddaughter of Luise Händlmaier, the fabled sweet mustard of Bavaria. In the Spring of 2010, we visited the Mustard Factory in Regensburg. Normally closed to visitors, our connections to the Mustard Club of Cincinnati opened doors for us. Our private tour included breakfast with the owner and a mustard tasting.
